Since 2018 every Flemish primary school has to test year 6 in at least three learning areas with validated tests. Catholic schools usually use the IDP, city and municipal schools the OVSG-toets. These tests look wider than the Vlaamse toetsen. They do not decide entry to secondary school.
Which test does my child take?
It depends on the school's network (onderwijsnet). The Vlaamse toetsen come on top in years 4 and 6.

OVSG schools get their results in the last week of June.
